Associating multiple categories in a SharePoint blog

The blog application that is created with WSS V3’s Blog site template is limited to just one category per post. How to customize it to support multiple categories per post has become an FAQ, so here’s a series of screenshot snippets that shows just how easy it is to customize the SharePoint blog to do that. In each snippet, look for the mouse cursor to provide a hint on what action to take. This is a bit of an inside joke with the SharePoint MVPs with whom I've recently been evangelizing the benefits of doing short and concise screencasts for popular use cases of SharePoint features and capabilities. This blog entry is like a silent, freeze frame version of a screencast. I will start doing screencasts of some of my favorite SharePoint use cases very soon.

Ok Lawrence... we get the hint. I love it when a guy says he is going to stay off his computer for a holiday weekend and ends up with more posts and emails than he has in the past 6 months.  :)
