Microsoft Executive Briefing Program is "Briefing Program of the Year"
Microsoft’s Executive Briefing Program has just been awarded “Briefing Program of the Year“ from the Association of Briefing Program Managers (ABPM), an international organization with over 100 Fortune 500 member companies, including IBM, Sun, Cisco, Dell, Oracle, HP and Apple. Wow, I had no idea that there was even such an association in existence! J The ABPM rates executive briefing programs on a standard set of four dimensions, and Microsoft’s program was recognized as being “World Class” in three areas and “Excellent” in the fourth, earning it the distinction of Briefing Program of the Year. Two primary factors differentiated Microsoft from competitors’ high quality programs:
1. Highly experienced, industry aligned briefing consultants who provide a higher level of customization to address customers’ most important issues
2. Broader range of speakers whose quality and breadth is unmatched as a speaker community
Since my first EBC presentation six months ago, I have become a frequent speaker for SharePoint related sessions (i.e. collaboration, portals, enterprise search, and enterprise content management) at the Executive Briefing Center (EBC), so I am very proud of this achievement even though I’ve probably had just a miniscule contribution towards it. If you are a Microsoft “managed” customer or partner (i.e. you have a specific Microsoft account executive calling on you), then I’d strongly encourage you to schedule a visit to the EBC at least once a year. And you can even request me as one of your speakers. J
