Introducing the SharePoint Team Blog!
A couple of other bloggers have already discovered it, but we launched the SharePoint Team Blog in stealth mode this past Monday. The first entry was posted by Kurt Delbene, Corporate VP of the Office Servers product group, and a second entry was just posted this morning by Jeff Teper, General Manager of SharePoint Portal, Search, and Content Management. Kurt’s and Jeff’s interest in the community is a huge boost to the SharePoint Community Development Initiative that I’m spearheading, for which establishing the SharePoint Team Blog was a key deliverables.
You can expect many more blog entries from senior members of the SharePoint development team in the near future. The topics of the initial series of posts will be fairly high level because the team just wants to provide a level set for those who have not taken an early look at the next version of SharePoint products and technologies, which are currently in early Beta. Rest assured that the team is fully prepared to dive into technical details very soon in much the same way that David Gainer has done on the Excel 12 blog. Please send your topic suggestions for future blog entries to me, and I encourage you to give direct feedback to the dev team via comments on the team blog. Thanks!
