혹시 여러분들께서는 Outlook 2007을 사용할 때 보다 OWA 2007을 사용하였을 경우,

5-6배의 Network Traffic이 더 발생한다는 사실을 알고 계시나요?

관련하여 Exchange 2007과 Outlook 환경에서 Network Traffic을 분석 자료를 공유해 드립니다.

일단 Client 사용자 패턴 별 Network Traffic 부하 정도를 상대적으로 비교하면 아래와 같습니다.

Outlook 2007 cached mode < Outlook Anywhere in Exchange 2007 < Outlook 2007 online mode < Outlook Web Access 2007

OWA를 사용하였을 때 Network Traffic을 가장 많이 사용하며,

Outlook 2007 cached mode를 사용할 때 가장 적은 양의 Network Traffic을 사용합니다.

글구 질문이 있는데 클라이언트들이 어떤 방식으로 Exchange를 이용하는지 통계를 낸다거나 레포트를 만들어 볼 수 있는 기능이 있는지 알고 싶습니다.

안녕하세요,

통계를 Exchange Server에서 지원하지는 않습니다. 대신 Exchange Server는 Outlook 최근 로그인 기록을 기록하고, OWA, ActiveSync 접속 기록은 IIS 로그를 활용하여 분석할 수 있습니다.

파트너 솔루션으로는 Quest의 MessageStats가 있는데, 상세한 리포트를 생성해 주는 것으로 알고 있습니다.
