He'll miss us
Well, I guess the news of the day is pretty much focused on Bill Gates today. You know, leaving Microsoft after a life of dedication is something that you don't do every day. Certainly not when you happen to be the (co)founder.
I'm not going to try and give an overview of Bill's accomplishments here. I wouldn't be able, even if I tried. Besides, you can find lots of web site on that topic today, and for days to come. Just enter 'Bill Gates' in the news section of any of the search engines out there (www.live.com, or www.live.com, or why not, www.live.com?).
Most news sites do mention he's leaving, but it is very remarkable that most also focus on his 'career to come', as the greatest (private) charity man ever. Well, not man actually - but couple.
And yes, I'm pretty convinced myself that he will still achieve lots of great things in his life.
But no matter what else he achieves, I'm sure that his heart will remain with Microsoft.
He will miss us... I'm sure
