&lt;p&gt;This setup seems very intersting, agree that option 1 is the best. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Have you tried option 2 in a sccm enviroment ?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;could you explain this a bit more:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;All IP subnets are included in the boundary assignments of the SMS sites in the hierarchy WITH NO OVERLAP &lt;/p&gt;
