Welcome!
This is my first post I've done since I started my new job. After ten years in the field this past April I was fortunate to get a job as a Product Manager (aka Product Planning and Marketing) in Microsoft's Windows Server Division. I am very excited about the change because I've always wanted to have a more frictionless way of getting customer feedback prioritized high and put into our product(s). My new job enables me to do that! I'm also excited to listen your ideas albeit it'll make it easier once I'm able to tell you specifically what product I'm working on (its a secret at this point). Stay tuned.
I have a tendency to (try and) put a humorous spin on anything I write (life is too short to make you read whitepaper-like posts). I typically denote those comments with a <g> which is what I use as an emoticon for "grin."

PS I've had a blog that I've let grow quite stale at http://blogs.msdn.com/kentc/ I'm not going to repost those posts so if you're interested in my "legacy" thinking <g> please take a look over there.
