I say thumbs up for the machined aluminum body. One big chunk, less plastic to break and wear like on my Dell.

The trackpad is neat, I hardly use my left click button on my laptop, I just simply "tap" the trackpad.

If I had the money, I'd get the new MacBook Pro with the 8600MGT , it would probably be my first choice, followed by a Lenovo.

8600MGT? Nothing like a brand new laptop with a 2 year old GPU in it.

I really prefer last years Macbook Pro's all aluminum/silver look to the black.

the black bezel looks cheap.

The aluminium body and glass touchpad are interesting but the 4GB limit, glossy screen and no 17" are all absolutely no's even individually for me.

I'll stick with my MBP 17 as long as I can. All three of those options are more important to me than being able to run OS X...

I would imagine the 17" isn't too far down the road and I would imagine it'll have a Quad core processor. We'll see.
