I asked him why he used win PE 2.0 instead of 2.1 (which supports SP1 and Server 2008) but he kindly deleted my reply, i think.

The process is the same, im just playing devils advocate. :D

I'm pretty sure he recorded the screencast before 2.1 was released. I think he is going to do a follow-up and I requested that he also show how to build an installer on a USB stick.

I have a Vista Enterprise SP1 installer on mine. I don't use it much, but it was fun to make.

Because we lack directory services here i am relegated to scripting custom WinPE images to pull images off a server to deploy boxes. Its rough but it works.

We just got some 2008 Servers in so im hoping to try and set up Transport Server here soon and atleast get multicast for the images. Although even unicast I can pull down 10-15 5GB images in less than 10 minutes so MS did their homework with PE 2.0+
