The BI Story!
Warning: I'm not a real expert in this area yet, so please note that I may language a bit loosely below.
So, I'm done with that disclaimer. Never really claimed to be a know-it-all and here I can really point to it and say it out loud ;).
As many of you may have heard we aquired ProClarity earlier this year and have made it cheaper and therefore more accessible to the world (Already!). Last week's been pretty busy putting this message out to partners and key customers in Egypt. We had Aziz ElKardoudi from Holland visit us and that resulted in a whirlwind tour of the city rushing from meeting to meeting and as my peers will tell you, I was late everywhere! Thankfully, we've had some degree of success propagating the message.
The Message:
BI is part of our pervasive message to Businesses. We're building BI in a whole bunch of products: SQL Reporting Services, SharePoint, Excel, BSM, ProClarity and the upcoming PerformancePoint Server.
We're planning on completing the circle here ladies and gentlemen: Reporting, Monitoring, Analyzing, Forecasting and Planning.
