Jose Barreto joined Microsoft in 2002, working for 5 years as the Systems Architect with the Cisco Systems Account Team in Northern California.

In 2007, he moved to the Redmond campus to join the Storage Solutions Division (SSD) as a Technology Evangelist with the Storage Evangelism Team.

Jose’s job is to help partners adopt Microsoft products from SSD, like Windows Storage Server (WSS), Windows Unified Data Storage Server (WUDSS) and Data Protection Manager (DPM).

He also works with partners interested in tools and technologies from SSD, including Backup, Restore, System Recovery, Defragmentation, Disk Management, Offline Files, SAN Management, Disk Quotas, Cluster Services, Network Load Balancing, DFS, NFS, SMB, CIFS, WebDAV, VSS and VDS.
