Jose - I'm not aware of a guide being available yet - I would expect that to be available at RTM. However, the only supported mechanism for upgrade is to export your VMs, flatten the box, install the new OS and re-import. In-place upgrades of the standalone Hyper-V Server product are not supported at this time.

Note that saved states are not compatible between "v1" and "v2". Therefore, you should cleanly shutdown your VMs before exporting them. It will also be the case that online snapshots are not compatible as they contain a saved state too.

My problem right now is finding the RSAT for Win 7 RC.  I have Win 7 RC running on a development machine and would like to use that to talk to my Hyper-V Server 2008.  All of Microsoft’s links are dead, including yours above.  Can you provide a link, please.  RC is good for several more months and not all of us have Technet subscriptions to get a hold of Win 7 RTM.
