Windows Genuine Advantage
You may have noticed, if you've been downloading anything recently from microsoft.com, that with the exception of security updates, you now have to install an ActiveX control. Windows Genuine Advantage went live on 25th July after some 10 months of beta use as a global anti-piracy initiative.
