That reminds me of the p-p-p-powerbook - a guy tried to scam to buy a powerbook , but the seller noticed and had a little fun... google it - you will love it.

OMG! That was a GREAT story Danilo. Even better than mine I am afraid. A friend of mine did encourage me to mail a BRICK to the guy with advice rubber-band’d around it about how to clean up his act and improve his life. I should've done it. :->

I'm in the midst of what sounds like the same scam. Persistent definitely describes the buyer. Yes, the buyer is from Nigeria. Yes, the buyer offered to pay for super delivery charges (over $300.00 out my pocket initially). He asked me to "end the auction." I believe that gives him feedback that he has me on a string. I'm going to contact the USPS and see if I can have the shipment stopped. I can't find any legitimacy to pay-palauctionsupport.com. When I googled it I got you.

Why isn't PayPal on to of this?

Great question. eBay and PayPal responded to me within 24 hours when I alerted them to investigate. As far as them taking down the site, I am not sure they have the power to do so - except to notify the FBI and the like. It does suck to have people like this out there messing up a world full of mostly honest people... :->

I just got scammed from the exact same address in Nigeria. A guy came in at the last minute and bumped my high bidder off. Thanks for the info since this was my first time selling. You saved me the extra headaches that were to come.
