TechNet Magazine: December 08 Edition Online

The December Edition of TechNet Magazine is online now and this issue is all about interoperability; something I’ve been talking about a lot lately. Here are a few highlights:

Authenticate Linux Clients with Active Directory – This is great article that can help in this area if you’ve struggled with this in the past.
Managing Macs in your Windows Environment – Don Jones take you through what you need to know to setup a Mac in your Windows Environment. Maybe this is a good reason for me to get an iMac and test this out!
Interacting with Windows from a Mac Environment – In this article Wes Miller talks about how to bring Macs into active Directory and use some of the services on the Mac with those used in AD.
Managing the Root password on your Mac
Understanding proxy Authentication in AD LDS – Learn how to use proxy authentication to give users a simple bind to an AD LDS instance.

So there is lots of interoperability stuff on offer this month and of course the usual columns.
