The Edge has arrived..
In a previous post I talked about a new program we were going to 
launch soon where IT Pro's can hang out. Well that time has come..almost..On Monday we are formally launching The TechNet Edge. What is it? Well it's a place for IT Pro's to hang out with other IT Pro's and get the latest and greatest information on technology that matters the most to us. Things like operations systems such as Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Exchange, Security, Hardware and Windows Mobile devices. Should be a fun way to learn what's going on from the IT Pro side of the fence!
One of the cool things we are going to be doing is hosting our screencasts and other videos on the site much like Channel 8, 9 and 10 already do. This will be a much better way to get videos and screencasts than trying to download from my blog. We are going to be putting them in various formats to make it super easy!
But you're probably asking why another site? Well we simply didn't have a site dedicated to IT Pro's. Well now we do..The paint is still drying on the site but head up to http://edge.technet.com and register. While you're there introduce yourself in The Perimeter and say hello.
In the coming weeks you'll start to see much more content up there so keep checking back regularly and participate in the forums!
And while you're at it join the Technet Edge Facebook page..or my Facebook page for that matter. After all we are humans here at Microsoft..
And come on..lets get plenty of Aussies signed up and show everyone we have the best IT Pro's in the world.
