You can install side-by-side, which enables you to preserve your existing BDD 2007 environment and run MD separate from BDD 2007, and replace, which integrates your existing BDD 2007 environment into your new MD environment. MD will enable you to convert a BDD 2007 Distribution share when you create the MD Distribution Share, which is no longer created as part of the initial install but is created within the MD console.&lt;/p&gt;

It can also be accessed from the Deployment Process spoke in the Deployment Workbench =&amp;gt; Information Center =&amp;gt; Documentation. It lists all the settings for the customsettings.ini as well as giving detailed information on all settings, variables and components used in the deployment process.&lt;/p&gt;
