What Eats my Weekends
It was good fun reading this article by Steve Ranger talking about how so called time saving gadgets which are meant to save your time ....you end up wasting hours and hours "playing" with them. I can totally empathise with this. I recently spent an aimless Saturday afternoon checking out all the functionality on my new Sony digital camera. I then got all my old digital photos of family, collated them and sorted them and put them into an application called Seadragon which I have been using to collate all my pictures into a revolutionary way of viewing and sorting them....absolutely brilliant......4 hours slipped by in a flash. Also I have been having great fun with Photosynth too. Check out the Britain in Pictures collection. Absolutely superb.
