&lt;p&gt;Here are the facts we know.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;(1) Pixar produces the Renderman software. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;(2) Renderman supports Windows HPC Server (as well as Mac OS X and Linux)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;(3) Pixar uses Renderman to render its movies.&lt;/p&gt;
