Having two sites that both practically do the same function, means the user will have to make a tougher decision, because it seems as if the sites are competing with each other.

This is one of the reason why more people don't take Microsoft's internet services seriously. MS for some reason has a hard time making their services really simple, function great, and do what users want it to to do.

Overall, most of the UK users already have claimed that if Live Maps is gone, they're not going to Multimap. They're going directly to Google Maps. Since MS owns Multimap, why not put the good features into Live Maps instead.

It's like you guys don't think much about the Live branding. I thought Windows Live was suppose to be a set of unified services. NOT mixes of Live and other sites.

Live Maps UK changes on the way » D' Technology Weblog: Technology, Blogging, Tips, Tricks, Computer, Hardware, Software, Tutorials, Internet, Web, Gadgets, Fashion, LifeStyle, Entertainment, News and more by Deepak Gupta.

PingBack from http://www.ditii.com/2008/05/07/live-maps-uk-changes-on-the-way/
