Live Search is great for Image search especially Album Art

Having just bought the latest Offspring Album - Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace I used Windows Media Player to rip it to my music library but it didn't pick up the album art. I have been using Live Search for finding images lately because it has some pretty handy features.

On the right hand side there are a variety of filters you can apply to the search. Since Im looking for the highest resolution album art for my library (good if your using Media Center) I just select large or desktop and it comes back with the filtered results. I then click the the image link URL where then it opens a new window with the image. I simply drag and drop the Album Art into Windows Media Player and I have my new Album Art sorted. Of course you wouldnt need to go through this if it picked up the album art in the first place..

Our good friends at ninemsn are running this pretty cool competition called Prize Rush which is using Live Search and Live Maps. There are some amazing prizes up for grabs, check out the prize list.

The object of ninemsn Prize Rush is to dig for thousands of top prizes buried all over Australia. To earn digs you have to answer trivia questions—correctly, of course. There are five questions in a round and if you stuff one up you have to start that round from scratch.

It’s pretty simple and there are prompts throughout the game to guide you. But, just in case you’re easily confused, here’s a step-by-step breakdown of all the nitty gritty.

Firstly, memorise this little titbit. Every time you’re asked a question you can request a hint in the form of Live Search results. The Live Search tool scours the net in seconds so chances are it’ll give you the answer.

So you have to answer some trivia question with the help of Live Search to find the answer. You earn digs when you answer correctly, you can use these digs to dig on the Live Map to try and find the prizes.
