Windows Server System Reference Architecture Update
Windows Server System Reference Architecture (WSSRA) Update
We are pleased to announce updated WSSRA materials and an enhanced online navigation experience for delivering core IT service guidance, which integrates Microsoft server products into real world IT infrastructure scenarios. The WSSRA materials provide best practice-based service design guidance and prescriptive implementation guidance for the Windows Server System platform.
New content organization delivering a set of 15 core IT services

In response to feedback from customers, partners, and MS field regarding the most desired way to consume reference architecture, the content has been realigned to deliver guidance on a series of 15 core IT services. This is now the extensible model for delivering further IT services that incorporate more of the Windows Server System products. This also provides the necessary context for our scenario-based solutions guidance (check out the link above and the current “highlight” on the TechNet home page).
New graphical navigation on TechNet

Additionally, in response to feedback on the complexities of traversing large documentation sets, we have a new graphical technique for navigation on TechNet that provides the required level of context for navigating across multiple documents while retaining context.
Consolidated content on the Download Center

We have completely refreshed the content on the Download Center for improved user experience and download at the level of granularity our customers have requested. All content is in a consistent format with Windows Server System branding and available with a consistent user experience for download and installation. This is the foundation for better tracking who is using the guidance and understanding what value they derive from it.
