Last week, 7 Windows legacy products related hot-fix KB articles were released, including 2 for Windows XP, and 5 for Windows Server 2003. Below are the details:
Windows XP - 2 KB articles:
· 971345 The LimitProfileSize Group Policy setting does not take effect when the size of a user profile is larger than 4 GB on a Windows XP-based client computer
· 973296 The previous revision information is overwritten when you drag-and-drop a new version of a file to the document library on a SharePoint Portal Server in Windows XP
Windows Server 2003 - 5 KB articles:
· 971812 The applications that use the Java virtual machine do not start on a computer that is running Windows Server 2003 after you install security update MS09-012 (Microsoft Knowledge Base article 956572)
· 972189 Error message when you query the "Win32_Product" class after you install applications by using Microsoft Windows Installer (MSI) 4.5 together with the "Per-User" option in Windows Server 2003 and in Windows XP: "0x80041001 - Generic failure"
