Jun. 22 - Jun. 29 Hot-Fix KB articles Weekly Release - Windows Legacy Products

Hi Everyone,

 

Last week, 10 Windows legacy products related hot-fix KB articles were released, including 7 for Windows XP,  2 for System Center and 1 for Internet Explorer. Below are the details:

 

Windows XP - 7 KB articles:

·         959085  When you run the "Ipconfig /displaydns" command in Windows XP, the results are incomplete

·         970413  The Win32_Process class returns incorrect CreationDate property during the first week after daylight saving time begins or ends

·         970922  TIFF documents are corrupted when you rotate them in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer on a computer that is running Windows XP SP3

·         972483  On a computer that is running Windows XP, GDI object handles become leaked when you run a multithreaded application that uses a GDI object

·         971234  The Defrag.exe tool crashes when you run the Dfrgntfs.exe tool to defragment a hard disk on a computer that is running Windows XP

·         971455  A computer that is running Windows XP SP3 cannot authenticate a wireless router that uses the Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) when the router is configured to use Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP)

·         969395  Windows Movie Maker crashes when you install more than 100 video transitions or video effects on a computer that is running Windows XP

 

System Center - 2 KB articles:

·         970533  The Product Knowledge tab is displayed as the Company Knowledge tab after you import a Language Pack for System Center Operations Manager 2007 Service Pack 1

·         969564  Hotfix Package 1 for Microsoft Application Virtualization 4.5 Cumulative Update 1: March 2009

 

Internet Explorer - 1 KB article:

·         971930  A Compatibility View list update is available for Windows Internet Explorer 8: June 23, 2009
