Apr. 20 - Apr. 26 Hot-Fix KB articles Weekly Release - Windows Legacy Products

Hi Everyone,

 

Last week, 6 Windows legacy products related hot-fix KB articles were released, including 1 for Windows XP, 3 for Windows Server 2003, and 2 for System Center. Below are the details:

 

Windows XP - 1 KB article:

·         969111  A Windows XP Service Pack 3-based client computer cannot use the IEEE 802.1x authentication when you use PEAP with PEAP-MSCHAPv2 in a domain

 

Windows Server 2003 - 3 KB articles:

·         969429  Windows 7 clients cannot locate the Active Directory Management Gateway service that is installed on Windows Server 2003-based domain controllers

·         962965  A Windows Server 2003 SP2-based computer stops responding when you move lots of files from one directory to another

·         968502  A system state backup operation fails on a Windows Server 2003-based computer if the computer belongs to a site that uses high latency WAN links

 

System Center Configuration Manager - 2 KB articles:

·         968594  System Center Configuration Manager 2007 software inventory processing fails when a data file contains an invalid time

·         967919  On a System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Service Pack 1 site server, the SMS_Executive service process (Smsexec.exe) crashes when you use Intel WS-MAN Translator version 1.1 (build 558) to provision some computers
