Last week, 14 Windows legacy products related hot-fix KB articles were released, including 1 for Windows XP, 6 for Windows Server 2003, 5 for Systems Management Server, 2 for Internet Explorer 7. Below are the details:
Windows XP - 1 KB article:
· 963038 Error message when you establish a remote desktop connection to a remote computer that is running Windows XP: "STOP: 0x1000008E"
Windows Server 2003 - 6 KB articles:
· 956594 An indexed Excel worksheet that contains cells with a large comment field is not searchable in the Indexing service and by other search providers in Windows Server 2003
· 959996 PowerPoint 2003 presentations larger than 4,297 KB are not searchable in the Indexing service and by other search providers that rely on the Office iFilter in Windows Server 2003
· 959998 In Windows Server 2003, an Office 2003 document that contains ASCII words enclosed in non-ASCII quotation marks is not searchable in the Indexing service if you search files by using the word immediately after the first quotation mark
· 960831 Drivers or hardware providers that use the Virtual Disk Service to manage hardware LUN IDs encounter exceptions after a disk is physically removed from a computer that is running Windows Server 2003
· 967327 Shadow copies that you create in Windows Server 2008 cannot be detected in Windows Server 2003
· 957501 An FTP session from SUA is terminated in Windows Server 2003 R2 when an FTP client receives the SIGWINCH signal
Internet Explorer - 2 KB articles:
· 960713 The command bar, tab bar, and Favorites Center do not appear in the Internet Explorer window if the Internet Explorer 7 window is set to full-screen mode by the application and then is restored to windowed mode
· 960818 Microsoft Office supports only forms-based authentication (FBA) through persistent cookies and does not support the acquisition of session cookies from a process in Internet Explorer 7
System Center - 5 KB articles:
· 959875 The shared folders that store packages on branch distribution points may be removed in systems that are running
