Jan. 6 - Jan. 12 Hot-Fix KB articles Weekly Release - Windows 6.0

Hi Everyone,

 

Last week, 18 Windows 6.0 products related hot-fix KB article were released. Below are the details:

 

Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008 - 18 KB articles:

·         959554  Only the header and footer information in an XPS document are printed when you print the document on a computer that is running Windows XP, Windows Vista SP1, or Windows Server 2008       

·         960594  Per-machine printer connections that are deployed by using group policies may not be removed completely from Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista SP1-based computers            

·         960658  Windows Server 2008 systems may generate a truncated dump file if the system supports Dynamic Hardware Partitioning (DHP) and if memory is hot added             

·         955541  An application that uses the RichEdit control does not print some .rtf files correctly on a Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008-based computer

·         955551  Error message when you run the Encrypting File System (EFS) Wizard to create a self-signed certificate that is stored on a smart card in Windows Vista Service Pack 1 and in Windows Server 2008: "No valid certificates found"               

·         958194  The DNS server does not listen on the ISATAP interface on a Windows Server 2008-based computer      

·         961027  Unexpected behavior occurs in the Windows Time service when you enable the Windows Time Service Group Policy setting in Windows Server 2008 or in Windows Vista Service Pack 1               

·         956721  The DNS Client service and the NLA service crash intermittently in Windows Vista SP1 and in Windows Server 2008       

·         958685  A Windows Vista-based or Windows Server 2008-based portable computer does not resume correctly if you close the lid while the computer is asleep   

·         958970  A long delay occurs when you try to open a network share by entering a path in the Run box on a Windows Vista-based or Windows Server 2008-based computer  

·         959220  When you use Group Policy to create a VPN connection item, the IPv6 and IPv4 protocols may not be bound to the VPN connection item when you log on to the domain from a Windows Vista-based client computer               

·         959406  The smart card personal identification number (PIN) dialog box does not appear in the foreground of the desktop when you enroll a smart card certificate in Windows Vista Service Pack 1 or Windows Server 2008          

·         959458  The Sound dialog box displays duplicate items or no items for an HDMI device in Windows Vista or in Windows Server 2008   

·         959541  Black or white colored brush strokes in a picture may not be printed correctly by a Microsoft XPS Document Writer printer in Windows Vista or in Windows Server 2008         

·         959586  Some problems may occur if you remove a PCMCIA MicroDrive compact flash card from a Windows Vista-based or Windows Server 2008-based computer while the computer is asleep  

·         960464  Error message when you log on to a Windows Vista-based or Windows Server 2008-based computer that uses roaming user profiles: "Unable to log you on because your profile could not be loaded, please contact your administrator"  

·         960735  You experience poor performance when a Windows Vista-based or Windows Server 2008-based computer accesses a solid state drive (SSD) disk that is installed on the computer 

·         961038  Windows Explorer may crash when you try to expand a parent folder in the Windows Explorer navigation pane in Windows Vista or in Windows Server 2008

956721 seems to be gone.. is there somewhere where i can read the article?
