May 27 - Jun 3 Hot-Fix KB articles Weekly Release - Windows Server

Hi everyone,

 

Last week, 6 Windows Server products related hot-fix KB articles were released, including 4 for Windows Server 2003, 1 for System Center Configuration Manager 2007 and 1 for Systems Management Server 2003. Below are the details:

 

Windows Server 2003- 4 KB articles:

  •   952244 The Kernel Patch Protection code may incorrectly cross cache lines and cause the Front Side Bus lock to be raised on a computer that is running an x64-based version of Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2
  • 952145 An application exits unexpectedly when an application that uses remote procedure call (RPC) runtime tries to enter a critical section on a Window Server 2003-based computer
  •  951851 The WebClient service stops unexpectedly when you try to map a network drive to a WebDAV shared folder from a Windows Server 2003-based computer
  • 951323 Error message when you add a group as a member of another group that is in a different domain of a Windows Server 2003 Active Directory directory service: "Directory Service is too busy"

System Center Configuration Manager 2007 - 1 KB articles:

  • 949225 System Center Configuration Manager 2007 does not process all advertised task sequences

Systems Management Server 2003 - 1 KB articles:

  • 951497 You cannot install the SMS 2003 Advanced Client package that is released in hotfix 941214 onto a computer that is running a 64-bit version of Windows Vista
