Excited about Halo 3

Not since the launch of Gears of War have I been more excited about a console game than Halo 3.  After mastering Halo 1 and 2...3 will just be an epic experience.

The new high definition live action videos for Halo3 are now publicly available in Silverlight on http://halo3.msn.com/videoshd.aspx (the low resolution versions are available here).  The cool part is that these videos are stored and delivered via the Silverlight Streaming service.  The MSN site is a great example of what a customized Silverlight player can do, and how it can seamlessly utilize Microsoft's backend services infrastructure to provide geoscale delivery of high definition videos worldwide.

Make sure you see both the new “Combat Part 1” and the existing “Halo 3 Short Film” as live action examples of Halo3 (available via the “Videos” button at the bottom of the player window).  Below is the Warthog built by Weta Workshop for these sequences:
