I read of this awful event on Sunday at Aero-News.net. ANY aviation fatality is a tragedy, but one that is "close to home" for you all at ACES sure does suddenly put things into perspective. I hope time will do it's part to heal...

Hal, I'm so sorry I didn't read through your blog until now. I lost a friend who started flying training the same day I did when her Victor Airtourer went down in the ocean.

I know the pain of that type of loss, and it's why I primarily fly in FS now. Reading this blog brought a tear to my eye, and memories of a friend lost...

Thank you so much for blogging this... It's meant a lot to me...
