Who am I?

I'm the User Experience lead for the Flight Simulator group. Actually, that's not true. I work in a group that provides User Experience services to the ACES studio in Microsoft Game Studios and as such, we are the User Experience group for Flight Simulator.

I've been working on FS for a very long time, first as a tester, then a content writer, and now lead writer. That means I get to manage the schedule and make sure I don't get in the way of the talented, creative team of writers whom I represent in too many meetings.

Passion is a passion of mine. I have a degree in psychology and I'm a writer so I'm interested in how humans...be humans.

One of my other great passions is ancient and modern Egypt. I spent nearly all of my evenings and weekends from January-November of 2005 producing and writing a new official website for Dr. Mark Lehner's non-profit organization Ancient Egypt Research Associates, Inc. (AERA). I've been fortunate to visit Egypt many times and have worked with the AERA team at the foot of the Giza pyramids during the past two winter seasons.
