Running Vista x64, SP1... I downloaded the RSAT tool Windows6.0-KB941314-x64.msu and it keeps saying "This update is does not apply to your system". It may be something strange with my computer too - the other day it was refusing to open anything except the 32 bit control panel until I rebooted. Strange.

Since one has to uninstall the 2003 Adminpak before installing RSAT, how can one can back the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in?

It isn't really stated here, but to actually get GPMC installed you have to go into "Programs and Features" and then "Turn Windows features on or off" and then check the box for "Remote Server Administration"

If you just want to turn on the "Group Policy Management Tools," that is located under "Feature Administration Tools"
