About Gray
Gray Knowlton is a Group Product Manager for the Microsoft Office system. Gray's role includes helping IT and Developer customers understand the value of Microsoft Office security, deployment, management, development and interoperability related technologies. Gray joined Microsoft in 2005. Prior to Microsoft, Gray has held product management and product marketing roles at Adobe Systems and Net-Linx publishing solutions (formerly known as System Integrators, Inc.). Gray has also held system engineering & workflow analysis roles, assisting large-scale news organizations in migration to fully-automated electronic publishing systems. Prior to his expierience in technology, Gray had a successful, award-winning Graphic Design career, working as a freelance artist as well as in design & art direction roles for various newspapers and design agencies. Gray holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Communication / Communication Design from California State University, Chico. Gray uses too many commas when he writes.
The picture on the masthead of my blog is one I took while visiting Sydney, Australia. It is a photo of the Harbor Bridge climb, where visitiors are led on a hike of 1,000 steps to the top of the Sydney Harbor bridge.
