STSADM command won't work if you copy/paste
A small mental note for me and for you; while taking backup of companyweb and restoring it using the STSADM command you need to manually type it.
It will not work if you copy paste it!
To backup:
From: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\60\BIN>
Syntax: stsadm –o backup –url http://companyweb –filename C:\companyweb.dat
To restore:
Syntax: stsadm –o restore –url http://companyweb –filename C:\companyweb.dat –overwrite
