Security. Conference. Ever.

I was ever so slightly dreading attending the UK Security Summit. I've been to so many that have just been downright dull. However, this summit has changed my opinion of security conferences forever - and it wasn't just the Xbox 360 that made me stay to the end (damn it! didn't win that and didn't even manage to snag a laptop mouse either!)

I found this to be a genuinely useful and inspiring event. There were some great speakers (yourself included!). I learnt a lot. I took lots of notes. I have lots of stuff to checkout now I'm back in the office. Can't wait for the slides, as I'm going to be using them to disseminate some of the information out to other people in my organisation. Well done to everyone involved.

Fredbaum -addendum - chipfat if you were hardpressed to work through the audience of goodie seeking vultures :), the boys have a keyboard and mouse waiting for you - mail me to arrange collection :)

re: UK Security Summit 2006 - Slides to be posted soon....

I'll second the above, a top event indeed, I myself find myself attending many events such as the summit on monday, and generally I find the UK ones lacking in things that the US counterparts have, this event however hit the nail on the head in terms of the content and the level at which it was presented

Thanks go out to all who helped make it a great day, I came away learning a lot, and getting an eye opener to how MS have changed their stance on security over the last 4 years

no Xbox for me either, I thought colouring my paper red might of helped, clearly not!, I did however come away with a nice little mouse though!

Look forward to seeing those slides, I too will be reporting back to my team of consultants about the days events and what he next 6 - 12 months holds

Thanks again, see you at InfoSec! :)
