When you do this, you cannot open the file. Try these suggestions. Check the file permissions for the document or drive. Make sure there is sufficient free memory and disk space. This Fix it addresses the following scenario:&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p&gt;In a Microsoft Office Word 2007 document (.docx) or in a Rich Text Format (RTF) e-mail message, you create a hyperlink to a folder that is located on a network drive. The hyperlink contains a drive letter.
