Allow damaged AutoShape object open for Office
When you try to open an Office file that contains a damaged AutoShape object in Office 2003 Service Pack 3, you receive an error message: "<Office application> experienced an error trying to open the file"
On a computer that is running Microsoft Office 2003 Service Pack 3 (SP3), you try to open an Office file that contains a damaged AutoShape object. When you do this, you cannot open the file. Additionally, you receive an error message that resembles the following error message:
Office application experienced an error trying to open the file. Try these suggestions. Check the file permissions for the document or drive. Make sure there is sufficient free memory and disk space. Open the file with the Text Recovery converter.
