Word Rich Text Format out path

clip_image002 An Outlook 2003 user cannot open a network share from a hyperlink in an RTF e-mail message if the e-mail message is sent from an Outlook 2007 user

In a Rich Text Format (RTF) e-mail message, a user creates a hyperlink to a folder or to a file that is located on a network drive. If a Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 user sends this e-mail message to a Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 user, the hyperlink is not resolved. The Outlook 2003 user cannot open the network share by using the hyperlink.
