Microsoft Fix it solution for Problem caused by Webshots Desktop is Live!

We just released another Microsoft Fix it solution for Windows Error Reporting. This Microsoft Fix it solution addresses an issue with the Webshots Desktop that causes a crash in Windows Internet Explorer 6, 7, and 8. This Microsoft Fix it solution disables the Webshots Desktop.

Hi Jenny,

Thanks for posting a comment.  To help understand the issue a bit more would it be possible to gather more information?

When you state that you couldn't get it to work do you mean that the Fix it failed or that it didn't resolve the issue that was described in the KB article?  If it failed were you alerted to any error messages?
