Dear Microsoft, you've not just spoiled the defragmenter in Windows by removing the graph. You've made it countless times slower. My computer had 2 HDDs each with 5 partitions. The Vista defrag takes forever (greater than 10-15 mins) analyzing my disks. Something is seriously wrong. Please make the Windows XP defragmenter work on Vista as is. Microsoft has lost its reputation with me as a customer and I'm moving back to the fantastic and fast Windows XP.

Vista Defrag works differently than XP Defrag. In many cases it is faster. In some cases it is slower. Overall it is about the same. In your case, 10-15 to analyze seems a little too much. How big is your disk for your Vista computer? How big was it in the XP machine?

Regarding the interface, many customers have the same complaint. You can take a look on Defrag FAQ why we decided to remove the interface: http://blogs.technet.com/filecab/articles/440717.aspx But we listened to many people who like to have a more detailed progress indicator, and we are definitely considering all the feedback.
