Even after this upgrade is done, FRS will still be the replication engine for SYSVOL, until the SYSVOL migration procedure is initiated by the administrator. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Thereafter, once SYSVOL migration runs through the four phases outlined in the blog post, DFSR takes over as the replication engine for the contents of SYSVOL. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Following posts in this series will delve more deeply into what happens in each phase and should help clarify better. Please stay tuned.&lt;/p&gt;
