There are so many technologies when it comes to File Services in Windows 2003/8 - DFS, FRS, SMB etc. It is quite overwhelming for a newbie. Is there a book that covers File Services in Windows exclusively.

Thanks.

check out the Windows Administration Resource Kit (MS Press, 2008).  The second chapter applies a lot of the new technologies.  The book is *solutions* focused, rather than being *internals* focused, so it is not a replacement for an internals book or whitepaper, but it will probably help you out, Kris.
