Nino Bilic's Bio

I have been with Microsoft since early 2000... first on a contract and then I switched to full-time. Since the very beginning, I have worked in Messaging, starting with support for Exchange 5.5. Then Exchange 2000 came, then Exchange 2003 Beta and RTM. Near the end of 2001 I started in the position of a Technical Lead for our Admin specialty in Dallas, Texas support site. Essentially, I help Support Professionals help customers on the phone, and help them get better technically. What is Exchange Admin? Store, Jet, SA, Setup, ADC, Directory, Public Folders… I am sure I forgot something. Gotta love it! Every time I think I know something about Exchange there is a case that proves me wrong! :)
 
Recently I have joined the Exchange 12 Beta team which is super exciting for me!

While I would agree with you that ESEUTIL defrags are not a good idea for normal maintenance, what about running ISINTEG -fix agianst the databases on a regular basis?

Yes I understand that you have to take the databases down and that users will not be able to access mail, etc. But doesn't it just seem appropriate that the admin take a proactive approach to keeping the database healthy, and fix items in the database before the wheels fall off and upper management begins to scream?

Trying to setup Exchange 2003. Fresh install. Move users mailboxes from a old 5.5 server with a differant OU using outlook PST files.

Need to setup resource mailboxes for conference rooms - apparent need wizard in the ADC tools, but can seem to get them to install on the EX2003 machine??

Also needing to setup secondary mailboxes for HR employment ad responses, but can't figure out how this is done in EX2003.

Can you help?
