Breakfast in the Pub?

I like it here at Interact 2008. I like the atmosphere. I like the fact that there are lots and lots of Microsoft Staff around, so the attendees have loads and loads of Microsoftees to chat to. I like the transparency and the openness. Yesterday, in his Keynote speech, Terry Myerson talked candidly about the issues with Exchange 2007 and the leap year problem, about how daylight savings time caused the product team so many headaches last year due to Venezuela changing the date of DST 3 times , and some other insights that I've never heard at an external conference. I like the fact that Interact 08 is all about unified Communications - so everyone that you talk to is interested in a similar set of technologies.
I like the fact that the main hub of the conference is "Pub world" Everyone congregates there for side meetings, to catch up on email, to chat, or play on the xboxes. The speaker preparation room is tiny, unwelcoming and empty - all the speakers are in Pub world talking to the attendees. A nice touch.
But it's weird to eat breakfast in a pub. With a fully stocked bar and a huge TV screen. It's a good breakfast though...
