Power Management in the EEC

Published 24 October 08 08:38 AM | EEC

In today’s business environment with the need for companies to conserve energy to help save money and contribute a stronger bottom line, data center operators are looking at consolidation and power management options to help them in their quest. A great article on TechNet by Dave Ohara on sustainable computing called “Filtering the Greenwashing” talks about the issues facing IT staff with their data center operations. He mentions some of the new power management tools that the EEC has implemented to help our product groups and our customers gain a better understanding how their environments, architectures and product mix on those servers is affecting their power usage.

It’s a very interesting article and one I think you’ll enjoy. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/cc671164.aspx
