Welcome (back) to the Enterprise Engineering Center Blog
Hi,
Welcome back to the Enterprise Engineering Center Blog. For some/most this post is really a "Hello" as the EEC Blog has been gone for quite a while. For those that had followed our 1st try at blogging, we're glad you still have us as part of your collection and we look forward to keeping you up to date on the workings of the EEC, alerts to educational documentation on Microsoft's and our partners products, industry trends around data center operations and other fun topics.
For those that don't know much about the EEC, it opened in April 2002 to assist Windows Server 2003 early adopter customers with validation of their deployment plans. Since that time the EEC has expanded to help all product groups and their customers and partners with an opportunity to connect directly with each other in an interactive hands-on lab environment.
The focus of each engagement varies based on the requirements of each company and their testing goals. Whether a customer is testing or validating a planned upgrade, migration or deployment of a new technology, participants learn about products from the source. In return our product teams get a chance to learn more about customer scenarios and see first hand how their products are actually being used. During all engagements customers are able to have in-depth discussions with our product teams that focus on how the customer uses our products in their business and how we can improve our products to better enable a customer's important scenarios and tasks across all workloads.
Please don't hesitate to ask questions or provide links to information you think would be beneficial to the EEC community.
Talk with you soon,
Kevin Engman
