Additions to Server Boots to Grey Screen in any Mode......

After following the instructions in the previous entry, you may find that sites using SSL fail to start.  i.e. Outlook Web access.  You may also experience other web sites that use HTTP SSL fail as well.

 

If this is the case:  

Use regedit to export HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\HTTPFilter key from a working server registry and import it to the server experiencing the issue.

 

After importing the registry key to the server with the problem, under the same HTTPFilter key, verify the ImagePath value has the proper path <driver lettter\Path> to LSASS.EXE.  Then reboot.
