Quiet IE8 Launch

A few days ago Microsoft launched the RTM version of IE8 quietly (it was announced at a dev conference, MIX09, but no prior hype)

Just want to address a few things I've seen said around the web

- There is a 64bit version (I'm typing on it to create this post)

- Remember IE8 is more standards based, this may cause some issues with sites designed for previous versions of IE, but compatability mode addresses that.

- There are several tools for managing IE, over a 100 new GPOs, a blocker tool to control the updates and a new IEAK

So go do's if you want to look at the new IE and there are quite a few very nice features, plus performance and security enhancements

As most people know, Internet Explorer 8 beta has been released, Home Page for IE 8
