Windows Mobile Software

Windows Mobile has been around for a really long time now (debut was in 2000, yes 9 years ago, long before the concept of smartphones got popular). My latest is a Samsung Omnia (yes, I have a Samsung phone, netbook & LCD TV), actually had this one

ActiveSync for iPhone?

Interesting, one of the big strenghs of the Windows Mobile platform being shared. Microsoft has announced it will license ActiveSync functionality to allow Apple's devices to sync with Exchange Server for mail, calendar, etc. Press release here

Windows Mobile Sales figures

Very interesting numbers released on Windows Mobile sales. Listen to general media and you would believe that the iPhone is outselling every other phone. Seems Windows Mobile is actually selling at over a 3 to 1 ratio vs. Apple's offering. Article ->
