Microsoft Dynamics NAV Support of the 2010 VAT Package Legislation in the European Union
On January 1, 2010, new European Union (EU) regulations for VAT reporting take effect. An new whitepaper describes how Microsoft Dynamics NAV will support the changes to VAT reporting required by the VAT 2010 package.
The VAT 2010 package changes the VAT reporting for cross-border trade of goods and services within the EU. The changes affect business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-customer (B2C) trade. As each EU member state implements these directives, Microsoft Dynamics NAV will be updated to accommodate the legal requirements of that member state. Updates will be published for companies to install by end of December of 2009.
